DID YOU SEE THOSE HUGE POSTERS????? As you enter our hallways you may start to notice some rather large additions to our walls. The Grade 5 to 8 students will be exploring various new technology available to them, including Block Posters, Automotivator, Flickr Toys, Dumpr, and others. They will learn how to use technology to create dynamic pages for their magazines, (including puzzles and caption pictures of their teacher). Parents, if you want to know what they each want for next Christmas, I am sure a color printer hooked up to the internet, along with numerous extra ink cartridges, would be on their lists.
careercruising.com
The older TGMS students will spend some time on the Career Cruising website to open their minds to some future career options. They may be facinated to see the opportunities available and how easy this website is to use. Although these young students have a way to go before heading off on their own, the exploring of options gives a boost to the education path the students may follow. The students can each have their own portfolio on the website which they can add to as their future schooling gives them new skills and their interests change. Please feel free to click on the purple address above to go to career cruising.

Hi Mrs. Kolesar!
Great to see the Image creation tools being put to use in the classroom. Would love to see an image of what you created with Block Posters!
Keep well and have a great start to the school year!
